Out of a 1938 National Geographic I present a compelling reason to take a vacation... to Pennsylvania.
Go ahead and click it to view the splendor. Pennsylvania has the best Autumn, unlike all those other states. But, two things stand out in this ad. First you have the fact that they have a Pennsylvania passport. As though a visit to the Keystone State is the same as visiting another country. Look, PA has some neat stuff and all (see Hershey), but really do you need a passport?
Next I have to look at the mascot, or salesman, or whatever you would call this guy at the bottom of the ad. What is up with this guy? Why is he the selling point for PA? And when did PA have famed Motor Police?
