At the end of this year I have begun the cleaning out of the house. Four hours each night cleaning, vacuuming and beating the kids for making a mess. I have gone through mountains of laundry and there is still so much more to do. What I have learned so far:
- Fire extinguisher powder is a pain to vacuum
- We have so many more clothes than we really need
- We have twelve gloves, none of which match
- We have virtually every sock my 8 year old wore when she was 8 months old
- Cookie Crisp has the ability to survive an apocalyptic mess and still retain form and texture as if still in the box.
- I have too many F***ing romance novels. Seriously they are in every drawer, box, and bit of shelf space. Please someone buy some from me so I have more room.
- Netflix is awesome at late night movies to watch while you clean
- I seriously don't remember when we bought half of the things we have in the house
- Dysons are great until they suck up small twigs which clog the hose
- I hate messes
So, every night I will work at it to complete this task. Will I ever finish? Seems unlikly when the kids keep leaving things on the floor, but now I just take those things away. Eventually they won't have anything left to leave out. Oh well, back to work.

Too many romance novels? Get a paperbackswap.com membership and have at it! I got rid of most of my books before discovering the site, though, so woe is me =(
