The artist is Amy Mebberson, out of respect for her work I will not copy and post it here. Click through and take a look. Her Deviant Art page has some great Dr. Who, Muppets, and more. Best of all there is some Darkwing Duck!
Been a bit, but here is a site that is worth checking out. It has a lot of fun poking at comic books and such. They have daily comics and most are pretty good. After all you just can't go wring with "Rainbow Hulk!" Check it out at http://www.the-gutters.com/.
Ok, so last week was busy and I missed it, so this week I have two to make up for it.
First up we have a neat little site of Cold War arcade games from the Soviet Union, called "Museum of Soviet Arcade Machines." It's neat to look at the Soviet counterparts to the American machines we all know so well. Check it out at http://15kop.ru/en/.
Next up I have a book I really enjoyed, that was so good they made a Youtube trailer for it. It tells the gripping tale of Abraham Lincoln in his quest for the Presidency... and to kill vampires. With all this sparkling Meyerpire nonsense nowadays we really could use Honest Abe again. Check it out below.
Yep, I decided to do it again this Friday, an internet pick of the week. Today I am going to point you in the direction of a site that got me and The Wife making bagels at home. It is surprisingly simple and worth checking out.
Ok, so lots of people have their internet picks of the week. Well, I think I'll give it a try and throw out some of the real gems I come across be it video or site or whatever every Friday or so. To start it off I will share a great music video from OK Go that came out a few years ago. If you have been on the web you've probably seen it, but it is still pretty cool. Finally a good use for treadmills.
